2th STAGE: Elliston - Pt. Lincoln (212 Km)

Despite the lack of sun and the strong wind, a deadly "cocktail" for the electric muscular vehicles, the "Maiale" seemed to have learned the first stage lesson and was able to exploit well the strategies on the field, setting a fast and regular pace.
It was a nerve war with the vigorous Malaysian athletes.
Unfortunately, when the sun is missing, the legs are what must bear the brunt.
These are called “durability races” and here in Australia this is not a joke. The Maiale traveled at an average speed of 45 km/h, inconceivable just a week ago. In any case the Malaysian team had a 20-minute lead on us while we relegated the Australians into third place with a 5-minute lead.
